Developing my First Roll of Black & White Film

Video is first on this channel other than a small color grading test that went ~okay~ but yeah definitely check this video out, it’s pretty short and it was really fun to make!

This is my first real video on this channel. Start to finish just me developing my first roll of B&W film. If you enjoy the video please like and subscribe, ...

Some real criticism:

I am having a hard time with my scanner, it’s just a printer top one that scans are 1200 dpi which isn’t really in the range I would want for scanning film. I am looking to buy a refurbished Epson Perfection V600.

I also don’t love how my film came out just like in terms of regard to my handling. I ended up accidentally touching it was more than I realized like on the left side of the fire hydrant photo. I also didn’t let the water dry naturally or use anything like photo flo which would’ve helped the water spots a ton.

I could have also done better about dust in the area just in general like when cutting them.

I should be receiving a color negative (c41) developing kit soon and I am excited to render some of my MF stuff from my Mamiya 645. Stay tuned.
